Shani Freedman RDN, is a registered dietitian nutritionist through the Association of Nutrition and Dietetics’s Commission on Dietetic Registration. She lives in East Brunswick, NJ with her husband and children and currently serves as the dietitian at an assisted living facility. Shani has worked in long term care facilities, hospitals, and a weight loss and stress management center. Shani obtained her graduate degree from Eastern Michigan University and completed a thesis on disordered eating in teenage Jewish girls. She has written and edited articles and reports in the area of food and nutrition for various publications.
In her private practice, Ess Nutritious, Shani counsels individuals both in person and through phone or video conferencing. Shani is available for private consultations in all areas of nutrition, including:
